Space on virtual servers are sold by the megabyte required to host your pages. A 5 Page site would require less than 2 megs. Providing not to many photographs and images were used. Photographs and images require a lot more space than texts.

Building larger site, and the use of product catalogues and product brochures, can increase the size of the site to several megabytes. This kind of site, the material would have to re-viewed and a layout made. From the layout, an accurate quotation can be made.

A 5 page site is as follows. One home pages, with company's address, telephone and fax numbers, email address and so forth. One index page, with menu and links to all other pages. One page containing information regarding company's history, references or other recommended material. The remaining two pages can be used for services, products manufactured or sold. The site does not have to be build to this standard and the uses of the pages can be flexible. Photographs and images can used, to display personnel or products.

Non-Permanent are pages such as, "For Sale" pages. Advertising equipment and other rolling stock. These pages has to be up dated regularly. Several ways available to up date non-permanent pages. The up dated list could be mail, or send by fax. This would require re-typing the list into the "For Sale" list page. The up dated list could be enclosed into the body of an email or as an attached document. This eliminates the re-typing of the list. The best and the lowest cost way, is for the customer to make the "For Sale" page themselves, and send by email as an attached document. Permanent pages are pages which don't need to up dated regularly. Such pages as the home page, which has the company address, telephone and fax numbers are permanent. Product pages which display the same products, month after month are permanent pages. Pages which are not permanent are pages which display, "For Sale Items" and need to be up dated at some time.
