Enjoying the information on your web.  I have searched for information
on witching and haven't found much on the subject.

To start with, I'm a non believer.   But, I have had friends all my life
tell me all about witching for water.  I just said yew and let it be at
that.

When I lived on Bainbridge Island, Wa. I wanted to drill a well.  A
friend of mine came over and said Ev. you can't hardly find water on
Bainbridge.  There are many 100 foot wells I know of and they are dry.
He walked out back and did some stuff with some sticks.  I said ok.
That is where I was going to try drilling anyway.  Well I drilled and
come up with lots of very good water.  I can't say there were any powers
for or against that well wishing.

Now many years later, I live in Utah.  A friend said he could find my
wires for telephone, power and sewer lines.  I told him he is full of
it!  But, I will play along with you just for fun.  I figured I would
find some way to mess him up and make him look foolish.  He bent a
welding rod and went out back walking along and the rod turned to the
left.  I said ok you know my sewer comes out about the center of my
house and out the back as yours does.  Then he did some more looking.
He found my Power lines and telephone lines.  I again said, man u know
where all the lines were buried in all these houses.    I said ok, see
that short piece of water hose on the ground there.  I put a blind fold
over his eyes and said ok now you got to hit it exact.  I very
cautiously remove the hose while he was stumbling along looking for it.
In a bit, he said I don't find it.

I go out there trying this same thing with a welding rod and make sure I
don't let it control me and it works.  I STILL DON'T BELIEVE IT, but I
can't understand it either.

Now I'm a retired electronic Technician.  I think I understand about
most of the forces of magnetism, electronics and many other forces on
earth.  I'm just asking, Is it possible there is another force, that is
so dumb and simple that we don't understand it?

I went out when we had 8 inches of snow.  I tried the same search over
some stuff in my back yard.  I didn't get a movement out of the rod.

I'm confused, Or just don't understand.  Because the darn rod moves and
I don't do it.
