As Derrick men, you are responsible for the safety of yourself and that of other crewmember. Your attitude toward safety is apparent in your work practice and appearance.
Assist the driller and assistant driller in training new employees.Watch out for them during the first few weeks while they learn their jobsin in our company .
Be knowledgeable to inspection requirements of the derrick men,climbing device ,tail-line and geronimo.
Your life depends on this equipment-inspect it thoroughly and regurly.Make sure the geronimo is properly rigged up and is in god working order.A visual inspection of the locking dogs must be made prior to work start-up.
