Any tips on how to Diamond Drill through a fine sand that is under pressure without seizing up the drill rods?

My rods are stuck 585' down and the only way I can figure out how to salvage the hole is advance my casing another 250'.

I have been drilling through a mudstone/clay formation and have run into some fine sand seems now. I pumped allot of 550 polymer down the hole, but it did nothing. Its a Longyear 38 and the jaws are now slipping on the chewed up rod, so if I advance it I will have to cut my rods off at the surface and then use a tap to pull them if and when I get more casing to put down the hole.
